'Anyone who knows me knows that I love children. We woke up to the news that some children were abductEd. Days have become weeks. They are somewhere in the forest where we don't know. I saw the teacher carrying the little boy. We don't know what they are eating
I have two children. No one will take care of your child than you. I am more worried about the trauma that will hit the children when they come out. I am praying that God will help them. It is so painful' -Pastor Jerry Eze

🚨Breaking News: Portable Replies Skepta, Says Nigerian Celebrities R!sk Arr£st for Speaking Out
Nigerian street-hop singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has responded to recent comments by British-Nigerian rapper Skepta, who urged celebrities to use their platforms to speak aga!nst injvst!ce and insecvrity in Nigeria.
In a viral video making rounds on social media, Portable argued that celebrities living in Nigeria face significant r!sks when they publicly crit!cize the government or speak out on sens!tive national issves.
Reacting directly to Skepta's appeal, Portable said Nigerian entertainers could face arr3st or other forms of retal!ation if they become outspoken about the country's chall£nges.
“Skepta is saying celebrities should speak. Did he want the Nigerian government to p!ck us? They will arr3st us if we speak up. We only need help,” Portable said.
The singer added that Nigerians living abroad are in a better position to adv0cate for change because they are less vuln£rable to government pr3ssure.
“Nigerians in the diaspora should speak up because the Nigerian government can’t arr3st them. I’m only concerned about m0ney,” he stated.
Portable further claimed that local celebrities ri$k oppr3ssion and restr!ctions, including possible passport se!zures, if they become vocal cr!tics of the auth0rities.
His remarks came after Skepta shared a widely circulated message expressing concern over insecvrity and injvstice in Nigeria. The rapper referenced issves that have pers!sted since the EndSARS movement and called on entertainers, influencers, and members of the international community to l£nd their voices to the sitvation.
“There is so much !njust!ce in Nigeria. Nigerians need help. We need people to speak up for us as well,” Skepta said, while urging greater global attention to the country's chall£nges.
The exchange has generated widespread debate online, with some Nigerians supporting Portable's concerns about the dan+gers of speaking out, while others argue that influential celebrities have a responsibility to use their platforms to advocate for social change.
The discussion comes amid growing public concern over insecvrity, kdnap+pings, and governance issves across parts of the country, further fu£ling conversations about the role of celebrities in national advocacy and act!vism.
