Whats your favourite ‘unpopular Bond’? For me I’m just never NOT in the mood to watch 1985’s #NowWatching A View To A Kill. Such a fun romp. I think it’s made me realise how important a good score is and how I can ignore other shortcomings if the score is good 😆 #JamesBond

@tomsmason91 You should also deduct the marketing costs to promote the film (broadly the same as the budget these days) and the cinema's margin for showing it as well.

I was curious, so I worked out the rough profit* for each Bond film (box office - reported budget)...some interesting moves! The main conclusion is that even the least successful Bond film has been *immensely* profitable *adjusted for inflation to 2025

I remember being super excited when FYEO had its TV premiere. 5 years after seeing LALD, I had now seen all the Bond films that had been made at that point. Not sure why the video shop never seemed to have this though. Maybe the older Bond films were not so available on rental?
