@FakeNightskin Id put him above Eddie. But ye. This isn't a fully powered Superman. Yet the fact Spider-Man survives this is still impressive. Id say that version of Venomized Superman would at least be a planet smasher. Not a multiverse breaker like Clark.

@BoxingRinger Its not really a bias theres a difference between writing comic Superman like comic Superman and writing the COMIC Venom symbiote lile how it works in a show for toddlers

You know, the difference between the DC and Marvel crossovers is that:
For DC, atleast the characters feel consistent with their other comics and characterization
For Marvel, its like they ran the main story through the Ultimate Spider-Man show writing-inator

@this_isBB They need to thin the herd so the Older characters and the best Legacy Characters (should be 1...2 at most for chacters sharing mantle or who are related) but as a good friend of mine once said Its not a Race. Its a marathon. DC was struggling 2011-2016 and some past that tbc

@this_isBB They refuse to let their older characters grow up and they think having over 20 versions of a character made for everyone (Talking about everyone not just Spider-Man) is a good thing. Its not. You can have characters for everyone but dont base them all of 1 single character.

@this_isBB And have been doing very well having the characters show the progression of why they act the way they currently do (Joker excluded) but meanwhile. I openly admit Marvel's getting a bit a jam with a biiiig problem.

@this_isBB I admit ye. DC is doing better than Marvel at the present moment. Buuut. They have had their own problems with continuity and character portrayals its not even funny. Thankfully in the past...I wanna say 2 or 3 years. They've decided "Hey continuity is actually important"...tbc

@ceymk1 Ummmm. Sorry but I feel like for the Superman and Spider-Man books they were tied. Cuz I liked em both for different reasons. You are right about Batman/Deadpool being the better of those two Team-Up books though.

It is interesting because Editorial seems to think Spidey is about youth fundamentally, and yes, coming of age is a very big part and youth/growing up is central, but I’d argue it’s about Responsibility at its core, and how it changes as you grow

@Eddsrt3 @LexiTalksComix There's still sacrifices such as Annie not being as strong as Peter and having to keep an eye on her. And they could always have ended up fighting stronger villains such as a Returning Regent. But sadly we never got that.

@BoxingRinger @LexiTalksComix He doesn't need too tho, he is working with the villains technology as a base also no sacrifice makes things boring, having three fully powered spider people makes things easier, is the reason why miles and peter don't really team up anymore

@Eddsrt3 @LexiTalksComix They let each other handle their subdivisions of New York. Not only that but Peter Earth 616 has always preferred to work alone and have the occasional team-up. RYV Peter is a family man. He will use this as a bonding experience so why not make it safer for everyone.
