@BulletsFirst1 @rhunterh Qualifying for The Masters is extremely difficult. It has smallest field of all 4 majors and no traditional qualifying tournaments. It's invitation-only requiring a major career accomplishment: winning a PGA Tour event, ranked in the Top 50, or winning elite amateur titles.

@marc_bohme @rhunterh The assumption was we're talking about golfers, not learning the sport from zero. Golf is 1 of the few sports that are not impacted by anyone but the individual. No direct competition, no judges, just you and the course. Dedicating yourself to it can make a person competitive

This guy put an ad out for free rock. He wasn’t going to use it. 8 1/2 tons worth. You come load it and you haul it away. A woman messaged him that she wanted it. He told her to bring a big truck. She showed up in a mini van with buckets and was putting the rock into buckets in the back of her van. She asked him to take the ad down and she said she would come back for the rest of it. He’s kind of laughing about it in disbelief. Maybe she doesn’t have a lot of money. Maybe she wanted to use it to make her yard look nice and couldn’t afford to buy any. Instead of making fun of the situation, how about going out there and helping her. I’d have helped her. Would you have helped that woman? Or, was his ad sufficient- free rock, you load it, you haul it away? What would you have done?
