i will be preparing a preliminary "biz plan" for the opening of a punk museum in the next days. if enough of us want it, i'll build it. it isn't hard and it shouldn't be expensive either. it will maybe take an aggregate of 3000 hours of work, so a team of 5 guys can do it in 600 hours, i.e. 2 months if we work slowly. finding the right place and dealing with german authorities will take the longest. once we have that, we build. here are my initial thoughts: location: berlin size: 400 - 600 sqm (4.3k - 6.5k sqft) type: museum + cafe/coworking space/events opening: summer 2024 1. this museum will tell the whole punks story from inception until present day with all the jawdropping moments we had in the last 6 years. it will explain the rarity hierarchy, traits, pricing, provenance, etc and really give non-crypto people an insight into how punks and nfts as a whole work. the main purpose of the museum is to bring new people to the space. though many normies have never bought an nft or used a dex, they have all collected. be it pokemon cards, stamps, toy cars, you name it. when they come. out of our punk museum, they will remember the wonderful times they had as a child and forget about their daily struggles. they will feel good. 2. the museum will serve as a european crypto hub - hosting events, meetups and conferences alike in its premises. soon, if you want to hold a cool event, you will be knocking on the punk museum's doors. 3. first, we assemble the "founding members". you can only be a founding members if you own a punk. as a founding member, you get a golden punk necklace similar to the one from tiffany but at the fraction of the cost. in addition, your punk has a permanent place in the entrance of the museum. founding members can use the museum venue for any events they desire and - most importantly - will be remembered in the art history books as the exclusive group of people responsible for putting punks in their rightful place in the art world. right at the centre. 4. founding members fund the first 2 - 3 years of operations. the costs should be far lower than for a regular museum as we literally only need to (a) rent a place (b) hire art student workers for admin and daily operations (c) do marketing/SEO and (d) one bd guy who coordinates events with crypto people. his job is to grow the community until we reach the size of A GODDAMN COUNTRY. i will provide a calculation of the costs. covid might have played into our hands as individual retail stores in germany are disappearing by the minute, creating more supply of commerical real estate. simultaneously, working from home is becoming the standard, especially in new companies, creating even more downward pressure on commercial real estate prices. 5. there will be a non-profit and a for-profit part of this project. the non-profit part is the museum. but you are doing business with shanks here. do you really think i am going to allow you to run a multi-year, cash negative operation? NO. no no no no NO. besides hosting events, we will also branch our IP out into other fields. we start with fashion. the punk collection. each and every one of you lucky punk holders can create t-shirts with your punk on there and sell them. the initial sales location will be the museum, but if successful, we quickly venture out to retail. 6. more details to follow if you haven't indicated interest, yet, you should do so NOW.

@punk7642 @punk4156 It would be cool to make use of @deworkxyz to get devs to apply and compete to build some of your ideas. You could potentially line up the team there & submit the proposal all in sync so the builders get paid once the project is completed else funds are returned to the DAO.

i need to start tossing some props in i have a million ideas but no ability to code myself - but with resources I could hire and lead a team to do some cool stuff for nouns frankly - the biggest area I want to focus on right now is simple bring attention to the awesome things nouns has done i guess a media company or aggregator of sorts just feel like people have no idea - at all
