7 months ago I got tired of my team playing detective with physical mail.
Legal receives mail from all over the world. We’d scan it, guess who it belonged to, then spend hours chasing people down and getting asked questions nobody had answers to because the SOP we were following was outdated.
So I built an agent to fix it.
It triages incoming mail by type and intent. Non-English mail gets translated and summarized via DeepL before routing. If someone has a question, they just ask the agent instead of pinging my team.
7 months later: it’s one of the most-used agents at the company.
Projected savings: ~$75k/year in time.
Cost to run: <$1k/year in model spend.
One agent. 75x ROI. Built because I was annoyed.
