I’m about to get married, and my fiancé knows I have an inheritance that was left to me by my grandparents. It’s in my name only, and I’ve been saving it for years. Now he’s saying that before we get married, I should put the entire inheritance into a joint account so we can “start fresh together,” or he doesn’t think we should go through with the wedding. They are throwing the parents into immigration detention… where U.S. citizen children can’t legally go… leaving thousands of kids stranded. Then, those children are dumped into a broken foster system… a system that traffickers know how to exploit. While the rich pedophiles keep doing what they’ve always done… trafficking vulnerable children, with zero consequences.

As Trump sends ICE to airports in America today, and as he pushes to force women to show marriage certificates to get a voter ID when they change their names, let’s remember that this happened in an Episode of The Handmaids Tale. ICE stopped Emily, her wife and child at the airport, telling her that her marriage certificate is not valid before separating the family.

I’m an old white dude and because of that I can walk by ICE agents without any fear, but I won’t support one dime going to ICE until everyone can do the same as me without fear no matter their skin color or accent. If you disagree you’re just racist. There’s no other explanation.
