I attended the CEOs of State Social Health Insurance Agencies leadership retreat in Accra - Ghana, convened to reflect on collective progress toward advancing universal health coverage. The retreat provided a valuable platform for peer learning, renewed commitment, and strengthened collaboration across states. I also participated in a leadership training facilitated by Dr. Lance Shingai Mambondiani @DrMambondiani and Dr. Femi Funsho-Adebayo. The sessions were insightful and grounded in practical leadership experience. I look forward to translating the lessons from this engagement into concrete actions to deepen ongoing reforms within the Niger State health insurance landscape and to contribute meaningfully to health insurance reform efforts across Nigeria.
