@LloydsBank Like anyone really cares. Scamming is so easy and it’s out of control. Please don’t blame the victims though, especially when old and vulnerable.

@CSMTJPatterson I'm sorry to hear this. Did you raise a complaint? If so, is the letter received regarding the outcome. Or is the letter from our Fraud team? ^Kieran

So @LloydsBank now blaming my dad in a letter, apparently it’s his fault he was scammed. His fault, criminals took his money, what do you think that does to an 84 year old’s mental health? FYI it’s the scammers fault!!

@LloydsBank @LloydsBank my dad is ill, vulnerable and devastated by this, it’s certainly impacted his mental health, so I need to be with him. Will certainly be complaining as I cannot believe the lack of understanding or compassion on behalf of the bank.

Disgusted with @LloydsBank who refuse to help an 84 year old vulnerable man, despite the fraudulent money going into one of their accounts. Shame on you!!

@LloydsBank It was a transfer that he thought was a bill for my sister. They impersonated her.

@CSMTJPatterson What was the payment for? How did he make it e.g. using his card details or did he transfer the money? ^Jimmy

@LloydsBank They have said he won’t get his money back, £2300. He’d been suffering with oxygen deprivation and was duped. He let Lloyds know within 20 mins as we realised what he’d done. This shows no compassion and we are so upset.

@CSMTJPatterson I certainly understand why that would be upsetting. How has the money show as leaving on his statements e.g. DEB or FPO? What has he been advised so far? ^Jimmy

@LloydsBank It’s my dad, he was scammed and he’s been in and out of hospital but apparently Lloyds can’t help him. I’m horrified

@Map_Addict I totally get it and tbh staying out of the UK means your job will be more rewarding too. Workload & expectation is mental in the UK.

Yesterday I got arrested whilst filming a @JustStop_Oil supporter holding a banner on the pavement near the coronation route. I'm a filmmaker and had my @BECTU press accreditation visible around my neck. Police deemed this to be "conspiracy to commit a public nuisance".
