I’m referring to #Ultifi There’s so much tech in the Bolt. The current system software doesn’t do any of it justice. My rear view mirror is an LCD display. Why not make it a partial HUD when not in camera mode? Why not allow remote access to stream the cameras? Why not?

@TechGrlTweeter A truck compared to something like a Bolt is going to be much heavier, and more powerful, and have a far higher power draw. The base F-150’s 98 kWh pack is supposed to net 230 miles giving ~2.36 miles/kW. Bolt EUV’s 65 kWh at 247 miles is ~3.8 miles/kW. Big difference.

The dealer performed the software update while waiting for the replacement charge port. The way it works is it locks the max to 80% target charge. It’s not hiding or obscuring the actually value in the UI - which is a good thing. #Chevy #Bolt

Going from “you can use 60% of your battery” to “you can use 80% of your battery” is still not 100%. I haven’t read anything yet that indicates the software update imposing the 80% restriction will be lifted in the future

@ChevyBoltFan After getting the battery replaced on my 2017. I’ll be without mine as well. Going to the dealership for the 3rd time tomorrow. New battery won’t charge past 80%

There is a new lawsuit against $GM over the Bolt recall that is looking for class action status. I will say that Bolt owners deserve something out of this mess. The restrictions on usage of the battery, the parking restrictions, the charging restrictions… It’s been a lot.

Faulty charge port. I’ll be without my Bolt for Christmas. Second defective part to be replaced in the short time I’ve owned it (first being the transmission pump).

A major technology miss by @GM is this rear view mirror which is actually an LCD display. Pulled up it switched to a rear camera view. Convenient, but not used 99.9% of the time. Secondary HUD in mirror mode? Auto-switch on backup? Lots of missed potential.
