Alexander Isak's afternoon is done and his performance once again is a concern for Liverpool. Still doesn't look fit and unable to really influence play. Perhaps a full preseason will make a big difference but at present it just seems like #LFC don't know how to use him.

The only reason to not sack Slot the minute the final whistle blows after Brentford is that you have an agreement in place with Nagelsmann to come in October after he gets a break.

Every time one of the centre half’s stepped out to press and left the space in behind, that was us trying to attack. There was no low block.
