Here’s a shot from the interior of the new VIF. This is the OVI Cell (Off Vehicle Integration). Structure is complete. Now installing the hydrazine, pneumatic and electrical systems.

For the VSFB SLC3 fans: 76% complete! Expect to be able to certify b4 year end. Been a journey… Industry wide shortage of Trades people, critical parts, and equipment. Battled through all of that and over the hump. Whew!

United Launch Alliance is preparing for a landmark launch. The certified Vulcan rocket will soon perform its first U.S. national security mission, an intricate marathon lasting over seven hours to deliver two satellites more than 22,000 miles (35,000 km) above Earth.

Tory, I don’t really post on here, but I felt that this is something worth sharing with everyone-
I may have found some images of the mottled horror that is “Blue” SOFI applied to the Delta IV CBC LH2 tank test article at Santa Susana in 2000…

Yes, it was. Sadly, Delta blue over SOFI orange did not turn out as hoped. The resulting mottled and indescribable chromatic horror caused mental distress in those unfortunate enough to witness it. All of the misguidedly taken photos were ordered destroyed in order to preclude the risk of future pets and small children being permanently scarred by its unnatural appearance....
