I will say that it's funny how 1-2 years ago AI boosters would flip out if you said GenAI and LLMs were "plagiarism machines" and go on long lectures about how they "can't actually" copy things. Now the selling point is "copy famous stuff with a click!"

This is such a weird genre of AI boosterism. "It took a lot of effort and money to create something original, but it was cheap and easy to copy!" Yeah, that's normally the case. I guarantee da Vinci spent more time painting the Mona Lisa than I did downloading a jpg copy.
