You want to hit “through” the runner, a “penetrating” tackle with force projected more horizontally and towards the the ground. I like to think more “Saw him in half” The only time this is realistic is when you have an inside out tackler on a runner with a flat angle and the runner can’t see you. More of a DL pursuit tackle down the line. That’s really the only time you can “sprint” through him. More realistic you are hitting him thorough the shoulder and not down the middle face 1st. Still, force should be through him and towards ground. Not lifting on rise.
