I started covering this sport in 2001 as a freshman at SU. UFC wasn’t even 8 years old. Saturday AM radio show that no one listened to. My first pay check covering MMA came 8 years later. Call me a lot of shit, if you wish, but a leech is laughable. There was nothing to leech off. I’ll tell you who is a leech: managers who care more about their standing with the entity they are supposed negotiate with than their own clients.
