@charlieINTEL @TheXclusiveAce It's very simple. Playerbase is smaller playing BO7. Them adding the standard playlist defeats the whole purpose of the open MM. Whats more interesting is if they would give percentages of the playerbase playing open/standard and why they keep standard MM in the game.

Treyarch has again confirmed, this time to @TheXclusiveAce, that Open Matchmaking in Black Ops 7 is the exact same as it was in the beta.
Some players may feel it’s different because the player base and playlist selection in beta was different compared to full game.

@TheXclusiveAce Personally i'm loving MP. Although i'm very much invested in endgame ftm. For MP: Maybe remove the scout pulse. UAV are spammed ftm. Remove standard SBMM playlist and make one MM player pool = open MM. Spawns need some work.

I don't think Activision is stupid enough to reintroduce SBMM next year (bookmark this tweet it might be funny) but I am concerned about the future of the franchise.
We just got almost everything we've been asking for in regards to MP and the numbers show that people don't care.
Scary time to be a multiplayer fan.

Honestly. Stop the annual drops.
It's a miracle what these Devs pull off in such short windows. Could you even begin to imagine the level of polish and content attainable by being a bi-annual release? And also just the general anticipation too.

I think Call of Duty is going through a difficult phase where what's considered great by their core audience is considered a miss by everyone else.
That and MWII To MWII then BO6 to BO7 are just objectively bad ways to ship a product.
BO7 is a great COD game. But it's unappealing to everyone else.

@TheGhostOfHope Well initially i loved DMZ, but when they added the MRAP i stopped playing. The PvP aspect also sucked. Yes, i know it's the point, but going in solo wasn't much fun when 6 men teams were only hunting other players.

Genuinely wish the online sentiment was way more positive for Black Ops 7. Multiplayer is really good and zombies is too.
I’m actually having a lot of fun and kinda overwhelmed — in a good way — with all the offerings.
I’ve been grinding MP, going for the main quest in Zombies, and going for challenges and mastery etc.
There’s so much to do and not a single map I feel is awful that makes me wanna back out. <<< THAT is something I haven’t felt for a long time.
