@vanamerongen Before, we went to conferences to finally meet the people we talk to online. Now we just... talk online. There's much less participation in general. I miss the hallway track so much.

Speaking used to give me energy because of the traveling and the socializing. Now it gives me... unpaid overtime Zoom meeting vibes. So I've decided. After the 2 upcoming talks I have I'm not doing any more online unpaid talks. Only paid.

@titouangalopin @symfony @phpunit @carusogabriel @phpugffm Yes, these and other reasons for its existence were discussed between @phpunit and @symfony at the SymfonyCon in Amsterdam. Just need the time the build the neater solution. :)

@DadaProvider @symfony @phpunit @carusogabriel @phpugffm The main problem the bridge fixes is to choose the PHPUnit version to run depending on the current env. The author of PHPUnit quickly requires new versions of PHP in PHPUnit versions. Symfony apps can't do that, thus the bridge to help Symfony devs run their test suite over time

Hey there @symfony! Let's figure out a way to retire the Symfony-@phpunit bridge. Fold functionality into existing tools. I am currently available for a new project and it wouldn't take more than a few weeks to do it properly. Thx for reminder @carusogabriel during @phpugffm.
