What we experienced in the last 24 hours from the Left was nothing short of demonic. While President Trump was working all day on a critical mission to rescue an American pilot, the left ran a massive campaign pushing the lie that he was dead. We need a complete investigation into who paid for and coordinated these posts. Every account involved should be fully demonetized on X. They knew Trump had one mission: save the American pilot, not walk around and talk to the press. They still chose to attempt a mass distraction from it with a disgusting lie. If you need more proof the left hates America, you’re no better than them.

We need to stop accusing people of lying every time they say something false. Lying is knowing the truth and saying otherwise. When you accuse someone of lying, you are presuming to know their mind. That’s a high bar. Most of what we call “lying” on the internet is simply ignorance or human error. That’s called making a mistake - which all of us do far more often than we realize in real life. But in real life, people aren’t fact checking you, or clipping you, or querying AI. Social media puts everyone on eggshells and everything under a microscope - waiting to be attacked, waiting to attack. Is anyone enjoying this never-ending game of gotcha? We could all learn to apply Hanlon’s razor - most errors are due to mistakes, not malice. And we could all be better about remembering the Golden Rule - treat others as we’d like to be treated.

Today I learned we pay $750m a year for a State Department program called “EducationUSA” that operates in 175 countries to recruit foreigners to apply to American universities like Princeton where they then come here, get so much money in scholarships thrown at them that they owe some tax (in this article it’s $15k) which they decide to not pay back! Princeton tried to help the Chilean guy in the article by loaning him money to pay his tax bill but rather than pay it back he just moved to another country and is now whining in the New York Times about it! Enjoy that while you file your taxes this year! Yes this was a spot at Princeton that your kid from Iowa didn’t get.

ANNOUNCEMENT Timcast IRL has been asked to run ads promoting Animal Farm next week which is being distributed by Angel Studios Angel studios has done tremendous work in the past and I have been a fan for some time. However I am rejecting these ads outright as the film is shockingly offensive as it is pro communism and anti capitalism. The film in its entirety is a critique of capitalism from beginning to end and even has pro leftist terrorism elements. I understand that this statement may be one the stupidest things a company in the business of running ads can do, but I am so offended by this film I decided I must publish this statement. I hope Angel studios corrects this error and gets back to promoting positive films and messaging as they have in the past but I will not be party to nor defend such an egregious insult to a classic book and important message.
