@dcpetterson They stole it from Gore in 2000, gave us Bush, two wars, Roberts, Alito, a housing market crash that wiped out millions, Citizens United, and the groundwork for Trump. 26 years of damage from one stolen election in Florida.

Rumor has it Justice Alito will retire at the end of this SCOTUS term (i.e., sometime this summer). So Trump will have appointed 4 of the 9 Justices. If you'd have elected Clinton in '16 and Harris in '24, by this fall there'd be 7 liberal Justices on the Court. Fuck you all.

Americans will gleefully support this administration getting away with genocide, pedophilia, and running the country into the ground as long as 3 trans athletes can’t compete in sports and NBA players can’t paint nails. It’s beyond parody.

@Slippas3 @DrDeuceDomino @notgaetti I went back and checked, his spin rate in the starts after the league sent out the substance warning in June was lower than his previous 2021 numbers by 100-200 depending on the pitch, but still far better than his spin rates in 2018 when he had a 5.8 war, how do you explain that

He threw 73.0 really good spider-tack-fueled innings seven years ago and you haven’t gotten up off your knees ever since? I honestly do not understand people like you.

@Slippas3 @DrDeuceDomino @notgaetti Yeah because obviously cherry-picking a random rookie with no track record outperforming his peripherals is different than a 8 year vet or whatever he was. Also you said anyone not new to baseball knows this happened, your best example was a rookie with a sub 3 era and a 4.4 fip?

@Dave_mcpatrick @DrDeuceDomino @notgaetti Oh so now there’s more criteria that has to be met for a sub 3 ERA before the ban then dogshit after? What’s next do they have to be a certain height, weight? keep moving the goal posts dumbass

@Slippas3 @DrDeuceDomino @notgaetti Your best example was a rookie SP with 70 career innings who had a lower FIP in the 2nd half than in the 1st? Great case you are making! Certainly couldn't have been batted ball luck, no chance of that

@laanarchyart @AndrewJ23359565 @groove_sdc Probably when you give preferencial treatment to the lowest scoring black students over the highest scoring white/asian students. You can pretend there's discrimination until objective measures like GPA and MCAT scores prove you wrong

Longtime Black Man Here
No DEI was introduced because the history of white employers is they will never hire qualified Black, people of color, the disabled or the LGBTQIA community unless you force them to. They prefer unqualified white people particularly white men.
Nirwan@Nirwan_Sinha

@groove_sdc So you agree DEI was introduced to hire people who do not deserve to be hired in the first place, based on race not abilities.

@Slippas3 @DrDeuceDomino @notgaetti Also not exactly breaking news that a former high draft pick pitcher got to the big leagues at a young age, was a backend starter for a few years then hit his peak. That's extremely common, there is no more evidence against him than any other SP and everyone else seemed to adjust

@Dave_mcpatrick @DrDeuceDomino @notgaetti so again the argument is he had shit years when he wasn’t using it, when he did he had good years. so that’s again proving my point that he wasn’t good without it. thanks!

@Slippas3 @DrDeuceDomino @notgaetti I'm not sure of anyone that most acknowledge fell off as a result of the ban, obviously pitchers fall off every year for different reasons but that's not the same thing Yeah I could have cherry-picked and gone 2018-2020 but I tried to get as large of a sample as possible

@Dave_mcpatrick @DrDeuceDomino @notgaetti Yeah he was certainly a top 10 pitcher in 2016-17 with that 4.2 ERA both years, oo that 4.48 in 19 👀👀 also lmao you’re a new baseball fan if you don’t remember anyone that fell off because of it. you don’t know ball lmfao

Dave@Dave_mcpatrick·
@Slippas3 @DrDeuceDomino @notgaetti Maybe now but from 2016-2021 he was quite literally a top 10 SP by war, 1000 innings is way too much of a sample size to act like he was a spider tack merchant. I'm not aware of anyone that completely fell off as a result of that, it seems it was equally beneficial to all pitcher

@Dave_mcpatrick @DrDeuceDomino @notgaetti i mean he used a substance that he himself called his own spider tack. he himself used it, we have the evidence of him using it (RPMs) and the evidence of it dropping off in his few starts after it was banned (where he wasn’t anywhere what he was past 2 years). he’s dogshit

@notgaetti This is such a good point. He was mediocre then blatantly said he was starting to use spider tack and had a good season and a great covid shortened season age pitched like 3 games after they started cracking down.

@Slippas3 @DrDeuceDomino @notgaetti What is that evidence? And why would he have been trying to get it banned if he was so bad without it, from what I remember he was pretty ahead of the curve on pitch data so I don't think it would make sense to think he was stupid enough to try to get his own meal ticket taken

@luke_lukt @Mason__McCann I don't care when the research was not done by him, that screenshot was posted a few months ago so I looked into the source of the data. Also that standard is impossible to be consistent on b/c you wouldn't accept anyone ignoring contrary data b/c its from a pro-gay researcher

@MrMasonZ_ @ThaFightMecca @notgaetti Bauer's lawyer: Both of their respective claims have been withdrawn with prejudice, effective today. Mr. Bauer did not make -- and never has made -- any payments to Ms. Hill, including to resolve their litigation. If you actually looked into the story you would know this already

@Dave_mcpatrick @ThaFightMecca @notgaetti Nowhere in this post does it confirm that she was not paid any money but that she’s being penalized for saying that she was paid money because saying that broke the terms of the legal agreement of the settlement.

Genuine question for all the psychologists, therapists, and other experts out there: How did all the vociferous TB apologists in the comments get to be that way? What leads a person to simp for a smug, unlikeable domestic abuser with a 4.51 ERA against NPB hitters? I’m serious.
