The actual derangement is the people who don’t realize Obama is broadly popular, well-liked, and remembered fondly and was extremely popular on the day he left office as well.

The reality of ballroom politics is
1.) Trump didn't go through the proper channels, and while that may not seem like a big deal, it's a reminder to voters that he only cares about himself, so it reinforces the idea that this is a vanity project.
2.) Now is not the time. The economy sucks
3.) Saying it's "privately funded" makes it look corrupt. Like, what are the funders getting for funding it?

I think the story of the SVB crash and rescue remains undercovered.

Jewish people are the most targeted religious community in the United States, and anti-semitism is rising left, right and center.
That's why today, I met community leaders from the @ADL from Temple Israel in Michigan and across the country. These leaders have survived violence and hate of the worst kind, up close and personal. And they were here to fight for more security funding through the non-profit security grant program.
I was able to get Secretary Mullin to commit to investing more into this program earlier this year, but the job is not done. I appreciate these leaders making their voices heard, and working to protect Jewish communities from the threat of violence.
