I like that most people seem on board with the Solstice and the next arc in FFXIV. Whether XB3 or FFXVI a lot of people tend to be a bit weird about concepts or forces of nature as antagonists vs people you can punch in the face, so I hope people end up embracing it.

I hate when poorly worded equations go viral but this makes sense. It's asking you to make an equation that adds to 17 using two numbers that equal ten and finding the "x" to add that to 17 . 9+1 or 8+2 are what you use. Then just add 7 and you're done.

@witmaxxer To be fair the type of game also has a ton to due with that. Zone based games have a lot more freedom to have smaller because you only need so much loaded at a time. Open world games need more space.

Far too many people missed the narrative point of this scene, blinded by their dislike of a character.
You can dislike a character and still acknowledge their role and their importance in a narrative.
"Hear me then. Not as a hero but as simply...you"
"But there is more to you than than that. You know this to be true"
One of the only times in the game a character recognises us for US, not our accolades or achievements. The adventurer under the title.
"Acceptance at long last" is not Zenos saying we accept him.
It's not him saying we've finally accepted him or his proposed battle.
It's us - the player and the character - accepting our role, our position, beyond the Warrior of Light. That there is more to us than our title. Aside from our heroic endeavours, we do things just because we want to. Not for glory nor fame. But because we want to.
All the optional side quests, raids, trial series - such as The Warring Triad, The Four Lords, Ivalice and so many more. They have no over-arching impact on the main story. But we do them anyway. Because we want to.
We can choose to ignore them, choose to walk away. But we don't. We do it for us.

People are freaking out about this but I understand what he means. DQ's stories are more akin to what you'd find in dungeon crawlers like Etrian Odyssey (well it would be the predecessor in this case!). The story is very much a means to an end.

I have opinions on the new red/blue button debate. I interpret it as a test of whether or not you are in a high trust or low trust environment. Choosing the red button guarantees your own safety but also ensures people will die because there is invariably going to be people who will vote blue for whatever reason. But choosing the blue button is only a viable option IF you are in a high trust environment. The blue/red button question, in my opinion, is more of a question of “do you trust the group you’re in?” Pure altruism & trust vs. guaranteed self-preservation So it depends on the group. All other things being equal, I don’t particularly want blue voters to die, so I’d ideally vote blue. But I’m not going to stake my life on that if the group I’m in is particularly untrustworthy. So again… it depends on the group. If I was in a situation where all the other voters were my closest friends & family, obviously I would choose blue. But if I’m in a group of people who don’t know each other and are openly hostile to each other, I am pressing red.
