@Ed_dV Are the UVs worldspace, or is the trick somewhere else?

Making dynamic trails for smoke and fire. Zero particles, just lineRenderers. I finally worked out how to avoid uv jitter as the line updates, and it adds segments and smooths as it moves, so no more sharp angles (unless you want them). #MadeWithUnity

@antonkudin @Ed_dV That's a great idea! We're using custom Light solution for performance reasons which smoke particles sample instead of this, so now I need to find another use for this technique! :D

Light refracting through rain makes me happy. First noticed and loved it in Arkham Knight. Recently loved it in Jedi Fallen Order. It's always welcome.

Writing gradient to shader in script, because why go into photoshop when Unity has such a nice gradient editor already built in.
