Now that Chainsaw Man is officially over, it really feels like we’re stepping into a new era of shonen. Not just in Weekly Shonen Jump, but also Jump Plus, Kodansha, and a lot of other magazines that are putting out these newer series. Honestly, I’m excited to see where all of this goes, both in terms of future anime adaptations and how far these manga stories are going to push things.
There’s just a lot to look forward to right now, and I’m genuinely excited to dive into it all.
I also want to give a huge shoutout to everyone who’s already been covering and supporting this new era. I’m right there with you. I’m going to be pushing this wave of shonen just as hard. And even if I didn’t mention you specifically, I still want to show love to everyone making content around these newer series, because this is a really exciting time to be part of it. @whawkinsMW @DavyKettei @LegendDVash @AnikiSmashFSP

This wonderful woman’s name is Desscaras, and she’s definitely going to be a character a lot of you are going to fall in love with once Ichi the Witch gets animated. She already has fans, but once the anime drops, even more people are going to be all over her.
Trust me, I’m not the only one saying this.

@Janice_M_Audio That's understandable. That's how I feel about some series as well, so I definitely understand where you're coming from with that. I am excited to see a lot of these series animated, though. That's gonna be fun one day.

Again, I’m reading 3 out of 4 of these. I’ve tried 3 separate times to read “Kagurabachi,” the furthest I got was chapter 49 before dropping it. It just wasn’t for me. Perhaps whenever the anime (is announced) comes out, it’s be better for me but 😐

If I had to talk about the series I see the most potential in, I’d definitely go with Ichi the Witch. It feels like it’s right behind Kagurabachi in terms of being one of the key series that can really help carry the magazine.
At the same time, Centuria and MAD also have a lot of potential in my opinion, and both of those are coming out of Jump Plus.

@Janice_M_Audio Oh yeah, that's completely fine if Chainsaw Man isn't for you. I just wanted to make this post about Pano because I really love her character and she reminds me of how I felt about Reze when I first got introduced to her character.

I'm glad you're enjoying it so far. I've always heard so many people talk about it, but then once I finally check it out myself, I'm just hooked. I'll definitely give your account a follow so I could check out your journey with it, because I always enjoy seeing other people's enjoyment for a lot of manga series.

I definitely recommend checking out the series and seeing what she’s all about, because she’s honestly an awesome character.

@cigaretjes The other series is Ichi the Witch. It's done by the same author that did a Iruma-kun, if you've ever heard of that series.
