@EclecticLex Is T Latson not there anymore? Because, I don’t get it. She doesn’t play up to 1 min and I’m sure now that KP is down for a while they’ll want to put pressure on her and except her to produce instantly when you obviously never trusted her to put her in games. Stupid team & coach

KP is being over utilized. The bench players either don’t play or barely touch 10 minutes. Lynne, you need to figure it out.

Kelsey Plum appeared to suffer a right lower leg injury during practice today and was helped off the floor by several players, per @FlyByKnite. Lynne Roberts said it “looks like an ankle” injury and they they do not know the severity.

Last 3 games for comparison: Total rebounding was similar on each side. Fouls were 5 more vs Valkyries. Turnovers were 2.5 more than Valkyries, 5 more than Portland. 3 point shooting was less during Valkyries and Dallas, but our PITP in the paint were more. Portland had more PITP

Unpopular opinion: Marine wasn’t/isn’t the cause of all the issues for NYL. Did she have costly turnovers? Yes. But so did the rest of the team that committed the other 13.
AND those two turnovers in the 4th shouldn’t have had us losing the game by 7.
We lost the 4th by 15.

@ValksBall She’s average 35 minutes/per game. It’s not sustainable. Lynne has to work on developing Ta’Niya + more Chance minutes. Instead, she’s burned through 1/4 of Kate’s dev contract games.

@EclecticLex I agree, she needs to use her bench more. I think KP played 37 minutes last game, that’s unreal. The coach needs to develop her younger players and get them minutes on the floor or these injuries are going to stack up

@EclecticLex You’re definitely right but I think the issue we get into on here is the that there is a group that thinks she can do no wrong and then the opposite. Also in part the way she’s being utilized at times is not doing her any favors.

Breaking: Four-time WNBA All-Star Kelsey Plum suffered an ankle sprain in practice today and will be evaluated in one week. Plum is currently leading the league in scoring at 26.8 PPG.

Turnovers need to be reduced. Perimeter defense increased to limit 3 pointers. Keep driving into the paint, rebounding, and we need second chance points.

In the last 3 games that we lost we had a total of 60* personal fouls. Granted, the reffing calls aren’t consistent on each end, each quarter, each game.
Most per game:
Astier and Fowler 4 each vs Valkyries
Satou and Maley 4 each vs Dallas
JJ and Astier 5 each vs Portland

The last 3 games we lost at home we had a total of 54* turnovers. Most per game: Vanloo had 4 vs Valkyries Astier and Stewie had 2 each vs Dallas Marine had 6 vs Portland Dallas game we had 9 turnovers. The fewest.
