Almost a dozen red light runners since school started, EIGHT DAYS AGO.

Another near-tragedy in Houston yesterday from a driver running school bus reds. All the publicity and this is still occurring every day. We've had at least 5 since school started. It only takes a minute to stop and wait to keep a child safe.

Posted at our Middle School in honor of School Bus Driver Appreciation Day. Thank you for remembering our hardworking bus drivers for their caring and devotion!

Penta students were treated to breakfast today by their two drivers, one of whom came in on her morning off with breakfast burritos for everyone. Just an additional reason why our Eastwood drivers are some of the finest people I know.

Thank you does not begin to cover it for the assistance this afternoon after our bus accident. Mr. Welker, Mr. Wank, Mrs. Wagoner, Doug Rhodes, the first responders, law enforcement and my drivers who never fail to jump into the fray... I am blessed to work with you all.

2nd of 3 required evacuation drills today. A couple of grumbles but all the kids did very well. Preparing for an actual emergency is part of their safety training. Another drill planned for sometime in the spring!

Bus 12 broken down on high school run. Combined with the delay a little craziness going on in here but my crew gets the job done together without being asked, can't ask for a better team.
