@virginmedia I have done. They said the problem is directly caused outside our house. They can’t fix it for 5 working days - that’s loss of earning for 5 days for something caused by you?
@Em_Teaching Good morning, Emily. I am sorry to hear of this, though your own connection shouldn't be affected by our work. Please do contact your provider and they can assist further. ^John
Hi @virginmedia you’re installing broadband outside my house (i.e. digging up the road), which means my own broadband with @SkyHelpTeam now isn’t working 🙄 what can we do please?
Picked my recipes for the next few weeks - love the variety I get with @goustocooking 😍

This game has been passed down through generations - we always crack it out at family gatherings!
We call it New Market, but my Dad’s family called it Queens. Anyone else play it?! 🃏
Good morning ☁️🌈
I hope you are all having a good weekend! I had the cutest afternoon at a baby shower for my friend yesterday, so today it’s a food shop and life admin kind of day👏🏻
What are you up to? 🖤

@Natty08@Mr_P_Hillips I’d be really interested in this too! Trying to convince my school that whole class texts are the way to go, not short extracts where they don’t understand the plot/characters well enough.
@MissClarkeY2 Yeah definitely finding the right school! Saying ‘no’ doesn’t reduce the endless tasks and I feel like if I left earlier for childcare etc then I’d be more stressed about everything 😅
@Em_Teaching My partner said I’d need to stop caring as much and know when to say no but school expectations aren’t going to lessen so where’s the compromise?! I think finding a school where work life balance is prioritised is key!
I completely support strike action. My hours are 7.30-5.30 so I don’t have to take stuff home v often. On my PPA afternoon, I work solidly from 1 until 7ish planning my week as I’m in a 1 form. This lifestyle isn’t sustainable, especially as starting a family isn’t too far away
@guruteaching Definitely poor implementation. AR had a huge impact in one of my previous schools and I miss it. They should be able to read within their ZPD - her level will definitely increase on retesting each half term. We encouraged chn to read one AR and one for pleasure to get a mix too.
@DeputyGrocott Cooking! Would teach them to make their own lunch to share together and something sweet to take home 👩🏼🍳 (although I realise some aspects of cooking are on the curriculum…)
So this week, inclusive LGBTQ+ fairytale picture book The Woodcutter and The Snow Prince by @MrEagletonIan. Sadly, it has incurred homophobic abuse - in unwavering support of LGBTQ+ authors everywhere I'd like to give away a class set of 30. RT to win + spread this beautiful book
@MsLPrimary Probably controversial, but I didn’t like the SW plan so followed calorie counting but still paid to get publicly weighed at SW because I needed the shame. Obviously didn’t tell anyone I wasn’t following their plan…!
Does anyone have any great ideas for helping children with rounding independently if they’re really struggling? I have 2 or 3 children working below Year 4 expected and are finding it very difficult unless guided 1:1 with an adult which isn’t always possible.
