The claim: Gavin Newsom “allowed $146 billion in fraud” in a single Medicaid program.
WHAT THE NUMBER ACTUALLY IS
The $146 billion figure comes from estimates tied to Medicaid oversight by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
But improper payments do not mean fraud.
They include
Paperwork or eligibility errors
Missing documentation
Billing mistakes
Payments later corrected
Actual confirmed fraud is only a fraction of that.
THE FAKERY
This is not confusion. It is a rewrite.
A real number is pulled out of context.
A technical term is twisted into something it does not mean.
Then it is pinned on one person to manufacture outrage.
That is not analysis. That is deception.
WHAT ABOUT CALIFORNIA
There is no verified finding that $146 billion in fraud occurred in California or under Newsom.
THE GIST
Calling this fraud is false. It is a manipulated statistic designed to mislead, not inform.

🔥 JD Vance is NOT allowing the The View liberals to use children of illegals for PROPAGANDA
"Do you know that during the last administration we had TENS OF THOUSANDS of children who were SEX TRAFFICKED by cartels, brought into our country in PROFOUNDLY dangerous and predatory condition?!"
"Unless you enforce the border, you INVITE that conduct.
"You think it's 'inhumane' based on the reporting of one person with a POLITICAL BIAS. What I'm telling you is that it's inhumane to allow cartels to SEX TRAFFIC people across the border!"

There are a lot of *former* Senators who used to say the same things.
Eric Daugherty@EricLDaugh
🚨 JUST NOW: Leader John Thune says he can't always say "yes" to President Trump because of how the Senate works, as 47 repeatedly demands the SAVE America Act "[Our relationship] is good. We have our pointed conversations...sometimes it'll get a little testy and heated. But in the end, we have a job to do. And we have an alignment of incentives." "There are times when, for reasons of how the Senate functions, the answer isn't always yes to the things that he wants to do. But we do everything we can to work constructively with him."

BREAKING: Tycen Proper, of Ohio, has been arrested by the FBI for allegedly planning a terrorist attack to bomb the America 250 UFC event.
Proper reportedly planned to use explosive drones to target buildings in the area. Multiple other suspects have also been arrested in relation to the terror plot.

So much trouble.
Trouble like you've never seen.
I've heard that song before.
Remember when Obama was going to jail?
Remember when Hillary was going to jail?
Remember when Biden was going to jail?
Remember when Fauci was going to jail?
Remember when Schiff was going to jail?
Remember when the walls were closing in on Hunter?
Seems like Republicans have built an entire Netflix series out of trailers.
Season after season.
No finale.
Wake me up when somebody produces something besides all-caps tweets, YouTube thumbnails, and "THIS TIME IT'S DIFFERENT!" videos.
Until then, I'll file Gavin Newsom's imminent demise right next to Infrastructure Week.

Gavin Newsom is panicking on camera trying to blame his imminent massive scandal on Trump because he knows just how bad things are about to get.
The actual facts:
- One of the investigations started under Biden.
- Another began as a result of a whistleblower from inside his OWN administration.
His former chief-of-staff already pleaded GUILTY to federal fraud, a false tax return, and lying to the FBI.
Gavin knows this is only the beginning and it might ruin his chances of EVER running for President.

EX POST!™ JUNE 16, 2026
COMMENTARY
WHO DECIDES WHO IS "ANTIFA"?
WHAT HAPPENED
Fifteen people were indicted in Minnesota, and before most Americans knew what they were accused of, social media had already decided what they were.
Antifa.
Not defendants.
Not suspects.
Not people entitled to their day in court.
Antifa.
The label arrived before the evidence.
And that raised a question.
Who decides who is Antifa?
THE BIGGER STORY
I've known liberals my entire life.
Democrats. Socialists. Labor activists. Environmentalists. Peace activists. Angry activists.
I've never met anyone who handed me an Antifa membership card.
So who makes these decisions?
Who appoints the officers?
Who collects the dues?
Who decides who belongs?
More importantly, who gave politicians and influencers the power to brand strangers with labels that don't even have agreed-upon definitions?
Because once that game begins, it never ends.
Today they're Antifa.
Tomorrow they're communists.
Next week they're traitors.
Eventually they're terrorists.
And somewhere along the way, facts disappear and labels become evidence.
WHAT CHANGED
Maybe these defendants are guilty.
Maybe they're innocent.
Maybe some are guilty and others aren't.
That's what courts are for.
But when prosecutors and commentators begin assigning political identities before guilt is established, they are placing a thumb on the scales of justice.
The government's job is to prove crimes.
Not assign tribes.
And the rest of us should be very careful before accepting labels as substitutes for evidence.
Because labels are easy.
Proof is hard.
And whenever labels arrive before facts, liberty itself should become nervous.❦

EX POST!™ JUNE 16, 2026
EVENING EDITION
VIP PASS TO HORMUZ?
WHAT HAPPENED
Trump administration officials are discussing ways to restart oil tanker traffic through the Strait of Hormuz after months of disruption caused by the conflict with Iran. Among the ideas reportedly under consideration is a fee-based "VIP pass" that would allow ships expedited transit, possibly accompanied by U.S. naval escorts.
None of the proposals have been finalized, and administration officials are under pressure to restore energy flows and reduce the economic impact of higher oil prices.
THE LATEST
Nearly 500 ships, including more than 200 oil tankers, remain backed up outside the strait as insurance companies and shipping firms remain wary of renewed attacks. Despite the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Washington and Tehran, commercial traffic has not returned to normal.
Officials are also examining whether the Defense Production Act could be used to encourage American insurers to provide coverage for ships transiting the region.
THE BIGGER STORY
The Strait of Hormuz carried roughly one-fifth of the world's oil before the conflict. Keeping it open has long been viewed as a strategic necessity.
But the reported idea of charging ships for expedited passage raises larger questions. Critics may ask whether military protection should become a service for purchase, while supporters argue that the burden of safeguarding international commerce should not fall entirely on the United States.
Questions remain about whether ship owners would pay, whether allies would share the burden, and who bears the risk if peace breaks down again.
For now, one of the world's most important waterways remains a traffic jam waiting for confidence to return.

THE $300 BILLION QUESTION
WHAT HAPPENED
Since diplomats signed a memorandum outlining a possible framework with Iran, no final deal has been concluded and negotiations are continuing. One element under discussion is a Reconstruction and Development Fund that could eventually channel as much as $300 billion into Iran's economy, with most of the money expected to come from private investors and foreign partners rather than directly from the U.S. government.
Officials involved have emphasized that the memorandum is not a binding agreement. Any broader arrangement would still depend on Iranian compliance with nuclear inspections and other requirements.
THE LATEST
No final agreement has been announced. President Trump has rejected claims that the United States is providing Iran with $300 billion, while reports describe a broader international investment concept in which private and foreign commitments would reportedly account for more than half of the total.
THE BIGGER STORY
Three hundred billion dollars is large enough to reshape industries, infrastructure and energy production. Supporters argue that economic development could provide incentives for long-term stability and reduce the risk of future conflict.
Critics see something else. Many Republicans spent years condemning earlier agreements with Iran, arguing that economic incentives reward bad behavior. Some are already asking whether this proposal resembles arrangements they once opposed.
Questions remain about who controls the fund, what conditions Iran must meet, and how much the public will ultimately see.
For now, the biggest number in the room is also the biggest mystery. ❦
