Last prediction for the episode. I think The Amazing Digital Circus episode 8 will end with Caine disappearing from the circus perhaps through some sort of glitching out of existence or something so then episode 9 will leave the humans in the aftermath of a Caine-les circus

@Foiled__Again @KILLER_OUTLET Yeah that just felt kind of disappointing really, like I think it’s cute that King does care for Lancer but it kind of kills the impact of previous scenes in ch1. it would have been a lot more interesting to have more characters that are like, genuinely evil.

@KILLER_OUTLET I think that sentiment mostly comes from a mix of how hard king's evilness was backpedaled in chapter 2 and sort of just wanting to prove the "you don't have to fight" thing wrong. King sort of scratched the itch given by that hypothetical, but not ENOUGH.

On the note cause it’s a big part of it; people are absolutely obsessed with this game having a pure evil character despite never saying what it would actually add, it’s to the point where I can only assume it’s just for “aura and hype moments”
