@AfcN5Charles Harvertz has only played one full season with Arsenal, his 1st season. And it was the closest Ars got to the title. He has been in and out of the squad due to long injuries. Gyokeres was signed when Merino became Ars only CF option, at best Gyo was signed as an alternative/depth

Foolish and idiots blaming Havertz when your striker you signed haven’t scored a prem goal against any top 9 side in the league and went 10 plus games without a goal, Havertz earned the right to start and Gyokeres has been an absolute garbage of a signing! If he was good enough he would have won us games to stretch the league before this run in. Arteta project died the day Gyokeres walked in the door!

it’s very SIMPLE.
Gyokeres makes the creators bad, he doesn’t create separation between himself and the defenders.
He doesn’t win first ball to bring his players closer to him.
He can’t control nor pass the ball, he just wants the ball in large spaces where he can run and even with that, PL defenders are tiers above him.

So I have a genuine question football fans. When Gyökeres is on the pitch, he barely get chances to score. When Havertz or Jesus is on the pitch, they magically get chances. When they're all on the pitch together Havertz and Jesus still get 90% of the chances. Why?

Haaland didn’t win aerial duels, he didn’t link the play, in fact the ball was bouncing off him, but guess what he did when got the decisive chance… yes, he put the ball at the back of the net. That’s the most important thing in football.
Duels don’t win you games, goals do. Hope this helps

Kai Havertz won nearly every Ariel duel today, held the ball up to get our attackers into the attack and even scored only to get bashed because of Gyokeres. How did you watch the game think Havertz was poor?

Number 14 registered 0 attempts, 0 shots on target, 40 touches in 207 minutes against City this season. He's had 0 npg shots on target against top 8 in EPL this season.
Kai had 30 touches, 5 shots, 2 on target, and a goal against City away. He totally transformed how we play. He occupied defenders, held the ball up, brought others into play, was dangerous in the air... everyone clearly trusts him. Give him Saka next week and we are going to be very good.
Big chances need to go in. They didn't. I can forgive a volume striker missing chances (Haaland also missed chances today), I can't forgive 0 attempts, 0 on target game after game against semi-decent opposition.
There's a new vision, and it's better.

Ultimately the highlight reels will define Kai Havertz’ game today. And even though I disagree with it, that’s sadly how it is, since he should have scored at least one of them. But what I saw was a player who has clearly been trying to get back up to speed following an injury ridden year, since today was his first 90 of the season. And I saw a player who gave us a fighting chance by being a consistent out ball. Without him, we wouldn’t have even competed today.

@DarijokeO @Hustinxwilliam One penalty kick, and one tap in - decided by max Dowman actually. 1 or 2 goals apart, his goals are additions and often against opposition we'd beat anyway. Every single time we needed some quality to beat a serious opposition, Gyo was non-existent

Would really struggle to make any proper arguments that Haaland was better than Havertz today.
People never fail to misidentify issues with teams, football literacy is just so low.
Even when Havertz scores people are dishonest (or stupid!) about him.
