⛔️⛔️⛔️LIBERAL DEMOCRAT COUNCILLOR JAILED FOR SEXUALLY ASSAULTING CHILD⛔️⛔️⛔️ A councillor from Gloucestershire has been jailed after being found guilty of sexually assaulting a child. Paul Ockelton, from Innsworth, near Gloucester, denied sexually assaulting a girl under the age of 13 but was found guilty following a four-day trial in March. The former Liberal Democrat member who represented Innsworth on Tewkesbury Borough Council, was jailed for 18 months. He was also placed on the sex offenders register for 10 years and made the subject of a sexual harm prevention order. Ockelton carried out his assault in November 2021. He sat his victim on his lap and asked her "do you like this?" while he carried out the assault, the court was told. Ockelton denied he had touched her inappropriately, claiming he had been tickling her tummy and brushing her hair, but a jury rejected his defence. The victim’s mum told the court: “I am saddened that my daughter's wellbeing and confidence has been so badly shattered by his actions. “No-one has the right to touch my daughter and it is something that will affect her for the rest of her life. She is the most amazing and beautiful little girl.” Det Sgt Grace Craddock, of Gloucestershire Police, praised the girl’s bravery. “The child victim in this case has been unbelievably brave by letting her parents know what Ockelton had done to her,” she said. “The strength shown by her family throughout this difficult process too has been incredible, and I commend them for working with us to ensure Ockelton has been convicted and now sentenced for his offending.” Tewkesbury Borough Council’s Liberal Democrat leader Richard Stanley said it was a “shocking and disturbing case” and the authority’s thoughts are with the victim. “To be clear, Mr Ockelton withheld the fact that there were ongoing proceedings during his application process to stand as a councillor,”

@LeeHurstComic I think that is it in terms of defections. Katie Lam would be a very good addition, but there are only a handful of actual conservatives left in the tory Parliamentary ranks. I believe it's very much in our interest not to take any more of them anyway.

I suspect two possibilities: Either there are no more Tory defectors to Reform (the deadline being 7th May) Or… There are and they will drop the hammer on the Tories and defect the week of the elections. I’m going with the former. You?

Restore isn’t going to win the next General Election, guaranteed. If Reform DOESN’T win the next General Election, neither Restore or Reform will ever win a General Election after that, guaranteed. We have one General Election left. If we fail, you should get out as soon as you can as we will be done.

@LeeHurstComic Lowe, and bitter Ben and would much rather a Green/Labour coalition taking power than Reform, that is clear. Vorderman's politically promiscuous vote for anyone but Reform campaign is on the same mission they are.

@Nigel_Farage The Reform party is the last chance we have to save this nation. Everything is going wrong, no border controls whatsoever, totally biased politicised police, lawless streets, armed forces run down to a rump, no energy security...the list is almost endless.

It’s incredible how fast geared up riot police can appear when people protest about a young woman being raped. Yet there were no riot police at the Clapham looting or pro-IRGC rallies. Truly shows the priorities of this government.

This is why we are heading for real problems- for asylum seekers not to understand that this is wrong should frighten us all

🚨ASYLUM SEEKER WHO R*PED TEEN IN HULL TOLD COURT 'YES, I DID THAT. WHY NOT?' An asylum seeker who targeted women in a Hull cemetery during late‑night attacks has been jailed for a series of violent sexual offences. Ishaq Al‑Noor, 21, who arrived in the UK from Sudan three years earlier and settled in Hull, admitted raping a 17‑year‑old student and attempting to rape a 36‑year‑old mother in separate incidents. Hull Crown Court heard that Al‑Noor waited in darkness near Spring Bank Cemetery, choosing isolated moments to seize his victims and drag them into the grounds. At an earlier hearing, when the rape charge was put to him, he responded through an interpreter: “Guilty. Yes, I did that. Why not?” His casual admission shocked those in court and underlined his lack of remorse. The first attack took place in June, when the teenage victim was pulled into the cemetery and subjected to a violent assault. In a statement read to the court, she described how the rape shattered her sense of safety, damaged her relationship with her parents, and derailed her education. Once a high‑achieving student, she said her attendance and grades had fallen, and she now struggled with paranoia, sleepless nights and intense self‑loathing. She spoke of writing about depression and suicide and leaving the notes in her room, hoping her parents would find them and recognise she needed help. She said the assault made her feel that her refusal meant nothing and that her body and humanity were treated as worthless. Six months later, in November, Al‑Noor attacked again near the same cemetery. The second victim, a 36‑year‑old mother, described the incident as the closest she had ever come to being murdered. She recalled being grabbed, lifted off her feet and dragged towards the graveyard while she screamed “No! Please stop! No!” She feared she would be stabbed as he forced her to the ground and tried to overpower her. Judge Simon Jack praised both women for their courage in reporting the attacks and supporting the prosecution. He said that without victims willing to come forward and face the criminal justice process, dangerous offenders like Al‑Noor could not be brought to justice. He sentenced Al‑Noor to 16 years in prison, of which he must serve at least 10 before he can apply for parole. Al‑Noor was also placed on the Sex Offenders Register for life. Detective Chief Inspector Craig Nicholson of Humberside Police said the victims had shown immense bravery in recounting their traumatic experiences. He explained that their detailed accounts, combined with other evidence, allowed officers to build a strong case. Al‑Noor’s guilty pleas meant the women were spared the ordeal of giving evidence before a jury, though it does not erase the harm he caused. Both women continue to live with the consequences of the attacks, working to rebuild their lives after the trauma. Authorities stressed that strict monitoring conditions will apply if Al‑Noor is ever released, reflecting the ongoing risk he poses and the seriousness of his crimes. Credit Predator Awareness
