I’m really not happy with how we managed the minutes of our key players today, especially Pedri and Lamine. I talked about the potential reasons behind starting them, but giving them zero rest and keeping them on for the full 90 minutes before a game as important as Atlético? I just can’t find any excuse for that. Very poor management from Flick in my opinion.

Also Pedri's is a rare case of a player who's more fit when he's regularly starting and playing. We have known this since last season.
