I was standing there at EB Games thinking about picking up a new Switch 2 game. However almost all of the games had this disclaimer on it. I just walked back out. How do you guys feel about Game Key cards?

@FoxSTARSVT I kept saying how much I love getting physical for my switch 2 now, I think every game on my switch is physical haha I do hate that it’s phasing out :( let’s hope they do cool games at least for us to collect up :/

@TheDavidVinc Yeah it sucks digital only is the way to go. Thankfully we can make our own physical games with GOG offline installers...though doubt some people would do that. But I mean at least Steam sales are okay on the PC end. Though I'm done with anything modern Sony. Unless GT7 is on PC.

Every time something worse comes along, this "I treated you too harshly" bullshit follows not too far behind. Game Key Cards are just reusable "code in a box" in physical form that stop working as soon as the servers die out. JUST LIKE DIGITAL GAMES. They're STILL shit.

@SomnoKing @Finamenon Guess what. That's how it always has been since the mid 90's and Windows 95. I remember launchers for every CD based game I bought. GOG gives us the option for those launchers to use as we please.

Damn right. GOG does it the way it should be with digital. They even offer offline installers for most of their games, for folks who aren't always online or are concerned about the future of this company.

@HiTecSpecs @eurogamer Offline installers we can burn to disks. So yeah we can make our own physical copies of PC games.

@eurogamer What does GoG have to do with physical media? It's not like they're bringing back PC games on disc, which hasn't been a thing in 15 years. How is them being all digital preservation? I thought physical media is preservation? Make up your mind.

@CarcinogenSDA @Konami I mean when I saw them make Goemon cards in YGO I added them to my deck because mostly warrior monsters. I love the N64 Zelda like Goemon. I just like Goemon in general.

Hey @Konami PLEASE give this a release in the west, even if it's untranslated. Or even better, translate it. You underestimate how many people in the west love (or would love) Goemon.

@R4zORsh4rpo Yeah so make multiple saves. The issue with saves being deleted are in 4 as well.

@R4zORsh4rpo I never once heard a PSN Classic on 3 getting a patch when I tried playing FES last year on PS3...my file got hit with that glitch.
