Today, teams across the industry are coming together to announce the Fellowship of the OneBalance. We are united by a singular mission: Bringing Credible Accounts to Web3 in order to abstract away sprawling fragmentation. We call it the Credible Chain Abstraction Stack. Blockspace has historically been perceived as scarce due to the bundling of credible commitment machines with global consensus. This has lead to an approach to blockchain development crippled by UX challenges, poor scalability, and tribalism. It is time to put aside the tribalism brought by chain centrism and welcome a new unifying vision: the Fat Account Thesis. Members of the Fellowship of the OneBalance have a shared belief that an industry wide shift towards the use of Credible Accounts is essential to consolidate fragmented user experience, improve scalability, and most importantly, achieve greater decentralization. Together, we are defining the accounts which will bring the next billion users to Web3. "You will unite or you will fall. You cannot stand against the might of Sauron alone.
