We’re deprecating the infrastructure behind our Chain Abstraction Toolkit on May 18 at 23:59 UTC. Since its inception, the toolkit helped demonstrate what chain abstraction can look like in production. We showed that cross-chain UX could feel dramatically better. Through Resource Locks we enabled users to go from native BTC to any asset on any L2 in seconds, despite ~12 minute Bitcoin block times. We also saw strong teams ship fast using our stack. Dexari went live on OneBalance in under two weeks, and processed $1.375B in volume in its first 30 days. It proved that our product worked, the UX improvements were real, and that chain abstraction was not just theoretical. Over the last 6 weeks, we’ve been working closely with customers and partners to ensure a smooth transition. @zerion will support the data layer and @RelayProtocol will handle the transaction execution, with migration resources directly available . We’re grateful to the teams that built with us early and we’re closing this chapter with conviction about our future. Stay tuned for updates about what we’re building next 🚀

This is the wedge. Users shouldn't know what chain they're on. They shouldn't hold random gas tokens to move dollars. Stablecoins only go mainstream when the rails disappear.

imo coinbase would be better if they just completely abstracted away the need to go from USDC-USD on the frontend. like, i should be able to deposit fiat, trade spot, withdraw onchain, etc. and never have to swap between them now that i have my boys on the inside, @ilmoi @0xrwu wdyt fellas.
