A good automation game should make you feel clever without making you feel punished first. 🤖

The robots are weird. Your system is what makes them useful.

@thsottiaux Looking forward to when you add a remote control feature: ChatGPT -> Codex App on a local machine acting as a server. I thought that was the main reason you released the Codex app and expected it to come shortly after, but it seems like I was wrong =/

Working at OpenAI is fun because questioning everything and taking risks is part of the culture. Within Codex, the team asks itself how we could make it an order of magnitude better every few months and then sets most things aside to go and do it across the entire stack. Some examples were the Codex App and our first deployment of Cerebras inference with WebSockets. We are now well under way on the next bet and it’s making even our best engineers nervous as it’s at the edge of what’s possible today.

3/3 - Cursor Code Reviews and Automations are incredibly helpful and could be applied beyond code - to spec reviews, design doc reviews, product strategy reviews, and more.

2/3 - Pokémon-like game where each child creature is visually generated from its parents is super fun to play. - Onboarding new teams to an LLM-based setup isn’t always easy, but taking the first steps with systems like n8n helps a lot. Once they outgrow n8n, they’re ready.

1/3 The Cursor Meetup in Limassol was full of curiosity about building things! Love the community and can’t wait for the second one. Thanks @cursor and @benln! A few takeaways:

@coreyching @Eric_M_Stevens @OpenAI Looks amazing! May I ask you to share how long it takes to test the game via Playwright? Maybe I am doing something wrong, but it works sooo slow for me, so even basic scenarios are faster to implement with “code-side" tests. Thanks!

Built a tactical turn-based RPG with Codex + GPT-5.4, using Playwright for testing and image-gen for the visuals. I grew up loving turn-based RPGs, so this was a fun one to build. Sharing a 45s demo below — it’s also featured in the @OpenAI GPT-5.4 blog post for anyone who wants more context. openai.com/index/introduc…

True story!
Alexey Gulev@AGulev

Yesterday @GamesCodeDogs told me their Defold project takes 40s to build on CI. Some people might consider that fast, but I don’t think it’s fast enough. A small change adding dependency caching brought it down to 30s, and I have a couple of ideas to bring it closer to 20s.

Thanks, @itchio - an awesome platform, as it always has been!

SuperWEIRD Idle Automation is on the main page of @itchio! What an honor - what an amazing place to be. We’ve been publishing games here for 10+ years and absolutely love the awesome players here. Thank you, everyone, for the super kind words. We’re reading them every minute and can't stop making the game much much better. Go play it, it's web, it's mobile screen friendly, it's free, it's fun: ludenio.itch.io/superweird-alp… #indiegame #itch #featuring #gamedev

🔥 [JUST RELEASED ON @itchio] 🔥 SuperWEIRD Idle Automation - it’s free, it's playable in your browser, and it's full of robots (really low-quality ones 🤖) ludenio.itch.io/superweird-alp… #indiedev #gamedev #madewithdefold

Here's a little behind-the-scenes today. 3 hours to the public playtest on itch.io — what could go wrong…? 😅 We’ve tried to fix everything, but you’ll be the judge! Every opinion counts! 👉 ludenio.itch.io/superweird-alp… #indiedev #automation #nobodyiswatchingvideoslikethat

I just found an old “Game Ideas” file of mine with a tycoon simulation game about understanding how insulin and GH work in the human body (spoiler: a person can do very unexpected things if we trigger lots of unexpected spikes - including Hulk-like things) #indiedev #biohacking

Watching AgentCraft by @idosal1 and the awesome stuff @thekitze is making gave me the idea of building a character (or agent) in a Tetris-like form. The field (or context window) limits you so you don’t overuse AGENTS.md or other *.md. #vibecoding #gamedev

Building AgentCraft v1 with AgentCraft v0 is 🤌 Managed up to 9 Claude Code agents with the RTS interface so far. There's a lot to explore, but it feels right. v1 coming soon
