We are proud of saying we have been shortlisted for the Excellence in Service award of this year, a huge recognition for all our team. We have also been nominated for the category Team of the year. Thank you all for supporting the team and it’s members and for your appreciation.

Yesterday day was an historic day for our team. Since our foundation as Hospital@night and transformation to Acute Response Team, it was the first shift fully covered by professionals who are not nurses as background. We are proud of working in a full multidisciplinary team!

We also have separate posters regarding Martha’s rule, which is also one of our roles. I will share it when we have the new version approved!

Our team is participating in some of the trainings related to Martha’s rule in and outside the trust. We are who receive the calls and triage them. But, do you know what does the Martha’s rule stand for? Do you know what is the escalation process?#ARTteam #TheARTofcare

We had another amazing round of sessions today, getting more experience and learning some updates about the management of patients with problems such as falls, chest drains, or ETOH. Thank you to all the professionals of the MDT who are sharing some of their time with us!

Tomorrow, 31/03/25, we start officially our 24hour cover as Acute Response Team at Southmead Hospital.

Everyone knows Suzanne by her willingness to help and work ethic.Everyone knows she’s an amazing part of our team and the trust.Now,she’s retiring!She surely deserve it.She will keep working with us, don’t panic! But please join the team in wishing her all the best!
