@MaximumADHD @PopBase this still just looks white and black with a gold light shining on it, I don't know how anyone could think the black actually looks like it's naturally gold

@PopBase aw hell yeah we're doing this discourse again here's an edit I made to remove the background and subtract the "dim blue light" to help people in the black & blue camp see why we thought it might be white & gold.

11 years ago today, a dress was posted on Tumblr. It was later confirmed to be Black and Blue.

@haizoopRBLX @nottycoon yes, dictionaries and arrays are the 2 types of tables in lua arrays are specifically ordered tables, with indexes that are numbered starting from 1 dictionaries are tables with indexes that are not ordered numbers, including strings, instances, and numbers that aren't ordered

@nottycoon I have been able to learn all of those! I’m pretty good with tables and loops, im not rally confident about arrays/dictionaries. Wouldn’t dictionaries be considered tables though?

Day 25 of learning how to script on Roblox!! 👀✨ Today I was able to learn about Remove(), Destroy() and Debris! I was informed to never use remove and to always use destroy. I find this to be useful because now it makes sense how to do UI pop ups, like score results!! The script is just a mini script that I made to test it for myself. Pretty simple stuff, however debris did confuse me a bit so I'm currently reading other sources on that to get a better understanding. Can you guys give me a fun challenge to do on my own (beginner friendly please!!), I'll post it on my next post!! 💖

@jessedowo to be fair a hover animation is something AI (especially Claude) would actually be able to do, it sucks at more advanced stuff

yo I can't lie, I've always advised against using AI for programming because it's not good enough yet to be used as more than just an assistant at best... but claude is really fucking good. this shit is crazy.

nothing annoys me more than knowing exactly why something doesn't work but not knowing a solution for it

I feel so unorganized, like whenever I make a new game I just make up shit along the way until it's fun... at most I'll have a bullet point to-do list but even then I'll add to that while I'm actively making the game, no preset plan or anything
