Oilers should completely unload the cupboards for Saros and Stamkos and go for the cup over the next three McYears. Make it rain draft picks and prospects. Give it all up especially for salary retention to make it work.

He has been a great friend of mine for more than 50 years, a great Canadian through and through. It is a travesty that he is not in the Hockey Hall of Fame and has not been awarded the Order of Canada. King Charles III has recognized his merit, but Canadians haven’t.
