Based on MULTIPLE things Ive seen, I think we need to get something clear. If you think someone who's visibly queer and/or not white doesn't expirence discrimination because they fall under a certain label and/or lives in a certain area, you need to get back in touch with reality

@thintechgodhead I was bullied relentlessly in middle and high school. Was also sexually harassed a lot and groped at one point. I was in so many fights just because I had to defend myself, just to be the one to get in trouble every time. What was it I did? I was just visibly queer

if you think that trans men as children experienced the exact same friendships and community as c!s women despite being often visibly queer and excluded for that i think you’ve just ignored trans men and/or watched too many teen movies

@svetlyypie Im pretty sure the reason customers cleaning it is an issue is because
a) They can be a liability
b) The cleaning supplies customers are not trained for and/or staff use only
c) If supplies aren't used, then its not properly cleaned
d) Technically it's unpaid work for the store

I was doing my grocery shopping and accidentally dropped the tomato sauce, and they made me pay for it 😭😭😭 I’m not even mad about paying for it… what annoyed me is they still told me I should clean it up too 😭😭

Trans men also struggle to get a social life. Once again, this isn't a fantasy land. Homophobes and transphobes don't care what your specific label is, they hate all of us just the same. As for the queer community, you'd be surprised how transphobic some people can be

Many have been sexually harrassed/assaulted because of at least 1 out 3 reasons
1. They were seen as women
2. They were found out to be queer
3. They were found out to be trans
Many have also been abused by family members (yes including fathers) and/or physically assaulted

Given that in your scenario the women are pre transition, it's safe to assume so are the men. In which case, you are greatly underestimating how nasty society is when it comes to queer people and those they perceive as women

@noisepuppy2 We don't usually. There's a loud minority that has a lot of displaced aggression and/or a large misunderstanding of how anything works and they will go out of their way to cause infighting instead of learning

@dr43mylyx @cloverrye594 @RirenkaJ_ It does harm people when you take a book that is meant to be a warning that'll hopefully help children and turn into cutesy uwu shipping art. Maybe not directly, but it does indirect harm as it contributes to the book being misinterpreted and romanticized

@darshmallow22 @yuriiiiButAStar Not every homeless person is antisocial and they don't all do drugs. In fact the only people we've caught with drugs in their rooms were not homeless. As for showers, thats why they're going into a hotel. Wanting to see people get booted out simply because they're homeless is odd

@meggriffinliker Saw a trans man say that we’d stop experiencing misogyny if we “just try to pass” in response to another trans man talking about medical misogyny. I’d love for that to be true, but it’s not, and even if it was we shouldn’t be forced to conform to patriarchal standards of manhood.

the Blue Girl thing is symptomatic of the fact that queer people don't think of trans men or transmasculine people as trans in any meaningful way. passing trans men are cís men and non passing trans men are women who think they're men, or they just don't exist.
