Your inperfect doppelganger, who desperatly want to take control of your body. They'll burst through the ground when they spawn, then mimic your movements as it doesn't know any better.
If caught, will cause you to start moving in random directions, look in random directions, mess up your inventory order, and will use/drop your items.
Will be shaken off after a while and won't deal damage, but will definetly be annoying if you let it capture you.
V80 contains so many quality of life improvements, bugfixes and performance improvements that I am planning to release it as soon as I can, with the new stuff. (This way you'll be able to look forward for more after V80 comes out.)
@Chillfire21 Yeah, agreed. I love how multidimensional of a character Caine actually turned out to be, I never could have predicted that even back in episode 7.
Tbh I can see episode 9 having the Abstractions be let loose now that Caine is gone, maybe we'll see Abel too somehow? Who knows.
@ItsIdyllic_ I'm sure it'll be controversial to some, but the way they handled Caine's death was perfect. No music, no sfx, just suddenly disappearing. It's like kicking a player from a server. I wonder if the abstractions will come out to chase them in episode 9
@Chillfire21 Oh no I have already seen it, and yeah, it's absolute peak.
I went into it expecting to feel really sad afterwards, instead I ended up feeling completely shocked by the ending. Geniunely what the fuck.
... I really need/want to continue redesigning my avatar. Because y'know, like I just said, you can do much more with this character concept. Clyde is a great example of that imo.
I have different ideas for what I want my avatar's redesign to look like, but nothing concrete yet.
Oh hell nah the lore for Pastra's resdesigned Clyde is kind of scarily similar to my avatar's lore, and the redesign as a whole too. 💀
Really cool redesign of his btw! Goes to show you can do much more with the hooded humanoid character concept.
Update might come out a bit later than we had internally hoped.
Theres this 1 modifier that we have to make sure isn't gamebreaking if you're comboing it with 25 other modifiers and its taking a biittttt to polish.
We'll keep polishing until we go at least 24 hours without any internal bug reports, to ensure that the launch is as smoothe as possible.
