@Velosao98 @RiotPhroxzon @RiotPhreak it's their behavior / engagement match making system. watch Josh Menke tech talk about the matchmaking systems he designed, FYI he works at riot. don't flame the guy, but the system sucks for league, starcraft, and anything that isn't an fps shooter.

@RiotPhroxzon @RiotPhreak Hey, lets just get rid of loser's queue? I won like, 12 of 13 matches and then, the loser's queue starts working and I got the worse teammates, game after game, it's just insane, I would be happy if this was at least publicly admitted

Live SR Design Update Yesterday, @RiotPhreak announced that he will be stepping away from Live Balance for the foreseeable future to work on some other exciting projects within League! Want to thank him for all his work and I think we can agree that PhreakSzn has been a really great time to be a League player! I will be re-assuming overseeing the day to day Live work more directly, (which I'm also pretty excited about!), but not expecting too much to change in terms of how we approach patches. I will also be taking over Patch Rundowns starting on 26.8 to help keep that line of communication with the community open as well as continuing on Patch Previews. (More on this soon)

@JohnAncap_ @RiotPhroxzon @RiotPhreak nah, it's really good, just we have the worst matchmaking in league history right now and the blunder they did in 2025 and the even larger blunder at 2926 start, bit riot is slow to admit their mistakes. not Phreak, his pat h rundown are very transparent to why changes were done.

@elonmusk @SpaceX Crazy idea, but could I ride one of your rocket boosters to space and back? Duck tape me or something to the side then I'm not taking up any cargo space.

@POTUS Can your tarrifs include software development? At the moment it's excempt and it's frustrating seeing all the outsourcing in tech.

@RiotSupport Please fix your buggy support website. Some frequent issues: 1. Login redirects to login. 2. Infinite reload loop. 3. Logged In but says you aren't. 4. Sent messages missing but replies visible. 5. Multiple accounts linked to the same email show the same username.

This is the real production line of the 2025 Dodge Durango. Looks like Dodge is stuck in the Stone Age. How are these companies going to survive?

@Sykko_xo @SkinSpotlights I been playing since beta and always wondered why league has never had this system. Im actually looking forward to trying it out. Melee champs just feel clonky, auto pathing blows. I would just love to be able to walk to a wall without auto pathing moving me.

No se cual es el trasfondo de esto, pero en contra de todos ustedes esto me parece barbaro, duelo mano a mano donde nadie interfiere. El verdadero vieja escuela, ojala se vuelva a poner de moda.

@RiotAugust Saw a clip about you talking about Champion Depth. Was pretty interesting, but how can a regular player look up champion depth so we can do research on it as well? I find understanding parts of League of Legends helps reduce the frustration while playing. Thanks!

@TPV_John I don't think it is unreasonable. I do photography myself, usually with cosplayers. In a bright sunny day and you are trying to get close to your F1.2/2.8 bokeh without an ND filter, yeah. ISO 50/100 with shutter speed 8000 is your best friend.

I have done Photography as well… It is VERY UNUSUAL for a photographer to use 1/8000 shutter speed @ 30 FPS in broad daylight. UNLESS you are INTENTIONALLY trying to CLEARLY capture something happening VERY FAST. Like a BULLET blowing someone’s head clean off their shoulders in GREAT DETAIL. This @nytimes photographer @dougmillsnyt KNEW something was going to happen, otherwise there would be NO reason to have camera settings in this configuration in these conditions. This is a VERY DAMNING TELL. NO QUESTION. .@realDonaldTrump .@DanScavino .@TeamTrump

Bullet Trace, and interesting matters It’s nearly 0400 here in Japan. So this is a mind-dump, sans edit: Interesting on bullet trace — scratching my memories, I do not recall seeing any bullet trace photos from close to 90 degrees from bullet’s flight path. Am not saying it cannot be done. It probably can be done with modern cameras and high shutter speeds. Now keep in mind I am pretty handy with weapons and with cameras. I was a Special Forces weapons specialist. As a photographer, I shot some of the most famous photos in Iraq and in Afghanistan. Substantial crossover knowledge. My first thought was — I’d never seen a trace shot from that angle. Second thought was it should be possible. Third thought was that would be a fast shutter speed. I was preparing to reach out to the photographer. Hunting and pecking online, I found New York Times quoting the shutter speed at 1/8000th of second. It happens that I have sitting on table here the top three DSLRs Sony makes. The cameras most people salivate over, I have three here. Because I know how important serious gear is. I use only the very best cameras and lenses. Top gear helped make some of the most interesting and often intense photos in two wars. Unfortunately I often broke lenses while jumping on the ground or hitting against a wall or doorway. No camera ever broke. I use the cameras regularly though rarely publish photos from them these days. The maximum shutter speed on all three of these cameras in 1/8000. The the New York Times photographer, Doug Mills, is quoted as shooting at 30fps 1/8000. Those are settings I would choose if I were trying to catch extremely fast action. Such as a head exploding. Am not suggesting anything at all. Just as a war correspondent…I never cranked shutter that high even for anything. I wanted to keep ISO lower. Other professionals choose other settings. nytimes.com/2024/07/14/us/…
