I am trying to get myself to leave the flat to go to a shoe shop. HATE shopping for shoes. Also hate leaving the flat unless there's something external that prods me eg. an appointment.

For a while I've been (to varying degrees of success) trying to avoid just word vomiting my MH stuff on here. I *like* doing that, but I am a bit concerned that I'm just feeding my BPD. But it feels more comforting to overshare here vs in my journal. IDK.

@katrinanavickas This is such an appalling waste of the teacher’s skill, the students’ capacity to concentrate, and everyone’s time.

If this is how some students are taught then that explains a lot about how we have to spend a lot of undergraduate teaching unpicking this awful didactism. I would hate to be an academy teacher.

@lnr_blair @griffinkate I’ve bought Natoora veg from Ocado and it’s very hit and miss. Sometimes it’s fine but often it’s very clearly past its best.

A friend got me using Element, which I don’t entirely understand yet, but I believe I should be findable on there as @kake_lp:matrix.org (that’s @ kake_lp : matrix . org without the spaces, if Twitter mangles it) if anyone wants a chat. It feels a bit IRC-like.

@griffinkate We used to go to visit my mum’s friend in the north pretty often when I was a kid, and it always felt weird that we went there via England.

@hfnuala I have read this book so many times. (I suggest watching the BBC adaptation _before_ you've read it too many times. It was still good, but too familiar.)

@emmy_mallow @j4 Me too :D I tried the Monjardin chickpeas last week, which are seven times as expensive as regular own-brand ones, and to my annoyance they were also extremely nice and probably worth the cost for a treat.
