Even by your own source Erika doesn't fit the definition of a groomer. 1. Erika stayed on a public platform where it can be viewed by anyone. Online grooming immediately moves the child to private not viewable spaces and apps. 2. Pornography and graphic content are slowly introduced to the child and then eventually they start asking the child to take inappropriate photos of themselves. One off colored joke from an auto-correct mistake from Erika doesn't even come close. 3. Groomers use the child’s family against them as a threat to say if they tell they will get in trouble or harm their family etc. They isolate the victim encouraging them to stay away from friends and family. The groomer becomes the center of the Childs world. Erika did the opposite she encouraged Jillian to seek relationships with friends and family. 4. The adult will often have a relationship with the child for many years. Erika spoke to Jillian for about 8 months she helped her with a specific thing and then they went their separate ways. A groomer doesn't operate this way a mentor however does. 5. Groomers break down a child's self-esteem, looking for vulnerabilities to erode their sense of self and agency. Erika did the opposite she was constantly encouraging and building Jillian up giving her confidence and boosting her self-esteem from her appearance to her intelligence. Erika actively encouraged Jillian to better herself in school and at work and to take opportunities for her life etc. Groomers want the child dependent on them they don't want them to do well in life they want them broken. When you exaggerate claims of grooming against Erika who was clearly mentoring a girl and attempting to help her you take away from actual victims.
