Ederson - wouldn't be my first choice in midfield. I think United will use him in very specific games. He's not going to help the team very much in build-up. He's not a particularly good defender. He doesn't create or score very much either. But he does raise the floor physically and the squad has been missing that a lot. Year left on this contract, not in the Brazil WC sqyad, €45m/£38m. I do wonder what we'll feel about this deal in two years' time. Not a complete downer on it. Really hope this is the third of three midfielders.
