I’ve questioned their ambition and criticised their speed. I’ve condemned their decisions and called out their competence. But credit where credit is due, it’s only the 2nd of June and Manchester United have signed their first player. The board appear to have been busy, active in multiple directions, readying us for next season. We are being linked to a good crop of talent (Though I would have preferred more financial commitment for key targets) and we have distanced ourselves from some underwhelming deals. Elsewhere, we are still holding firm on Rashford’s fee and refusing to be bullied by Barcelona. And there is genuine belief that we may sign as many as 6 players (As we should do) and Carrick may actually be backed. This is progress and it will build trust with fans if the board continue to move in a promising direction. Equally, that trust could erode just as quick. So kudos for the work done so far, but we want more, deserve more and demand more. There’s no better way to repair damaged trust than by nailing a Summer transfer window.

We can’t sign a player better than leao for 50m in today’s market, so if it happens I’ll take it as a steal. I’m very sure leao will be a better option in attack than Dorgu. Before you say anything about Rashford, remember leao took AC Milan to win the league title In over 11y.

Mandalorian and Grogu Review: What an embarrassing movie for Disney and Star Wars. This movie sucks. In fact even calling it a movie is an insult to the art of filmmaking. This is a mediocre season of a dying TV Show, and a dying brand. It’s the equivalent of on screen nyquill. In fact every time I take nyquill I have dreams far more compelling than this movie. This is 5 badly edited, badly acted, badly written episodes of The Mandalorian, strung together, that Disney tried to call a movie. Opening night, decently full theater and there were phones out everywhere as people did what they could to keep themselves falling asleep. The characters have no depth, the Mandalorian himself is an empty shell of a charecter, even Grogu does not change whatsoever in this story. The charecters are static. Star Wars is called a space opera for a reason, there should be drama, bravery, high stakes, adventure, not boring characters walking in front of a green screen moving from mediocre action scene to mediocre action scene with no feel of actually danger or stakes for our characters. Star Wars SHOULD be the greatest film franchise of all time, and to put this out, with the Star Wars name on it is so embarrassing. The special effects in this film are mediocre at best, and very unbelievable at worst. It felt like Grok, Chat GPT and Claude prompts finished several scenes off for over worked special effects workers. I will shout out the puppetry on several charecters though. When this film is its best it feels like a Jim Henson muppets adventure, and I loved seeing the work that must have gone into making these creatures work. Besides that this movie has literally nothing to offer. It’s a babysitting movie. Is it as offensively bad as The Last Jedi or Rise of Skywalker? No, But at least those movies felt like they were trying to be movies, This is just slop content thrown on the big screen to try and get a few more dollars out of a dead franchise For 7 years to have passed since Star Wars was last in theaters, and for this to be what Star Wars gives us? Embarrassing. Is this my least favorite Star Wars film? No. The Last Jedi remains my least favorite piece of art generated by human beings. However, this is EASILY the worst Star Wars film from a more objective viewpoint, because again, it’s not even a film. Where does Star Wars even go from here? 2/10.
