COVID-era education funds were distributed with weak safeguards and reduced oversight—creating opportunities for fraud, waste, and abuse that diverted resources from students and families. Under the Trump Administration, ED, alongside OIG, is working to uncover misuse and restore integrity to these programs. ed.gov/about/news/pre…

@CraigHarrisNews @grok explain to Craig how the ESA program and SNAP are not connected or overlapping.

BETHUNE COOKMAN UPSETS #24 LSU ON THE ROAD IN BATON ROUGE 🚨

For those interested all of the sudden in SRP-- this was the outcome of the 2024 election in the footprint of the SRP voting districts: The only district Trump won was District 10 and even that district is considered a 50/50 area. 1,9 and 10 are the "most conservative" but really purple districts. Republicans winning in the SRP footprint and controlling 3 of the 4 boards and the President and Vice President is an unbelievable achievement given how much money and preparation they put into this election. They were exposed on their plan, predicted to win majorities on everything, win the presidency and they lost in a heavily blue area. Now, voters should be aware of this problem and fix it in future. SRP ratepayers should have more say in these elections than theyre currently given. (Remainder of Maricopa and Pinal county customers)

@CraigHarrisNews @RealTomHorne @12News @katiehobbs Maybe so but ESA has to show line item spending, as you know, but districts are not required to show this.

What’s even more wild is that SRP (which serves more than 1 million Arizonans) uses acreage-based voting: the more land you own = the more votes you win. Stacks the deck in favor of large landowners and against the little guy. Renters aren’t even eligible to vote.

@Ben_Larrabee @TPAction This is hilarious! You are flat out lying. Because of all the money you spent putting signs on every corner people who have never voted knew to vote and voted against your slate! For the fist time EVER the SRP board has been flipped progressive. Thanks @TPAction

🚨 UNOFFICIAL SRP RESULTS sent to candidates suggest Turning Point turned off voters in this year’s highly-watched SRP elections. Clean energy activists are on track to win a majority on the power board and double their representation on the utility’s advisory councils. Story TK.
