@MarioNawfal Wild how fast anti-drone tech evolves, just like trading tools lol. Soon the drones will need their own quant strategies to survive 😂

🇹🇷Turkey just dropped their ultimate “Drone Killer,” MKE TOLGA. Radar, jammers + heavy guns up to 35mm shredding low-altitude drones. Lasers and microwaves coming next. Drones are cooked. Turkey said game over.

🚨🇮🇷 A massive convoy of trucks just left Tajikistan for Iran. Official description: humanitarian aid. Actual allegation: drones. Iran has had drone manufacturing facilities in Tajikistan for 4 years. We all know what they're carrying.

🚨🇮🇷 UK, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Japan just issued a joint statement on the Strait of Hormuz. Their commitment: "readiness to contribute to appropriate efforts." @TheInsiderPaper

@MarioNawfal tbh if this is true the energy market ripple effect is wild. stablecoin de-pegs incoming? this feels like testing real-world economic warfare tactics. supposedly "contained" conflicts never stay that way.

🇮🇱🇮🇷 Israel hit at the BIGGEST natural gas processing plant at South Pars, which supplies ~70% of Iran’s power generation, is not a "natural escalation." It's a HUMONGOUS shift. They’re no longer just going after missiles and nukes… they’re targeting the energy grid that keeps the lights on. Blackouts could hit in days, not unlike what we're seeing in Cuba right now. With total air superiority, these fixed sites have 0 defense. We’re staring down what could be the biggest energy crisis in history. U.S. oil is trading at a $20+ discount to Brent, while Europe gets absolutely crushed. Natural gas is up another 30% today, and Oman crude is hitting $150/barrel. Europe’s now pricing in rate hikes… The U.S. rate cuts are almost fully gone. The whole global economy just flipped 180 in 3 weeks. Source: Zeihan on Geopolitics

You've got 8 billion potential customers on Earth, BUT... In 2026, only ~5.3 billion have internet access. That means 2.7 billion people still can't access the exponential tools we talk about daily—AI, telemedicine, online education, digital banking. The gap: The missing ~3 billion represent the largest untapped market in human history. Starlink alone now has 10,000+ satellites in orbit (just crossed that milestone yesterday). When connectivity becomes ubiquitous in the next 3-4 years, we're not just adding users—we're adding builders, creators, entrepreneurs. The implication: The next Einstein, the next Elon, the next medical breakthrough might be sitting in a village without Wi-Fi right now. Abundance doesn't just mean "more for current participants"—it means unlocking latent genius at global scale.

STARLINK: British Airways has revealed that its first aircraft fitted with Starlink is a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner with registration G-ZBJJ. It is currently in flight as BA197 from London Heathrow to Houston, Texas; the first BA commercial flight with Starlink! It departed London around 3:25 p.m. GMT, and should arrive in Houston around 9 p.m. CST. Per British Airways CEO Sean Doyle, "The roll out of Starlink is making excellent progress... This is a complex and highly-skilled upgrade to our fleet, and I want to thank all our teams who are working hard to make this possible. I know our customers will be looking forward to using this service soon." Kudos to BA making the service free for all passengers in every cabin. Starlink is complimentary, gate-to-gate, with no extra charges for streaming, working, or connecting on multiple devices.

🇭🇺🇪🇺 EU ramps up “disinformation” controls before Hungary vote Brussels and major platforms like Meta have activated DSA tools just weeks before Hungary’s elections. The system coordinates with fact-checkers and NGOs to limit what it labels “controversial” content. This goes beyond disinformation, allowing Brussels to sideline dissent and shape political narratives. Why it matters: unelected EU bodies could end up influencing the outcome of a national election. 🇭🇺 EXCLUSIVE BREAKING: FACEBOOK RESTRICTS ORBÁN POSTS WEEKS BEFORE HUNGARY’S ELECTION As Hungary heads toward a crucial April election, Facebook is reportedly restricting posts from the country’s Prime Minister. The move followed a call by an opposition party (Tisza Party) member, a former Meta employee, urging supporters to mass-report his content. Meanwhile, Tisza leader Péter Magyar has disproportionately high engagement figures, outperforming global figures, despite operating in a much smaller, language-limited country Péter also used a personal “professional mode” profile rather than a political page, contrary to Meta’s long-standing guidelines, potentially bypassing limits on political content. Questions are also emerging around how Meta moderates political content in Hungary. A regional Meta official has publicly shared positions aligned with mainstream European narratives, including pro-Ukraine messaging and content seen as anti-government in Hungary. If Hungary’s largest social platform keeps restricting Orbán’s content while opposition accounts seem inflated before the election, serious questions arise about free speech and democratic integrity. This requires an urgent investigation. I’ve seen political interference by social media companies in other countries, and I really hope this is not happening in Hungary.

It should be obvious to everyone that the economic picture drastically changes if Iran is successful in destroying energy infrastructure across the Middle East. The short-term implications will get most of the headlines, but the long-term calculus feels more important. How do you build infrastructure in a region where an adversarial country can fly a cheap drone packed with explosives into your facility? How do you discount the risk of a persistent, decentralized threat? The rise of drones and counter-drone technology is going to be one of the most important aspects of commercial activity in the region. You have to protect against the new threat or you risk your entire business being destroyed at near zero cost to the attacker. Just as "information warfare" simply became "information," we are going to see the "battlefield" become "operational security." This is a big reason why I am excited about the prospects of $ONDS as a shareholder. We need American companies that own, operate, and scale drone technology, while having counter-drone capabilities deployed across commercial and military use cases. This entire sector will only get more important over time.
