Fans don't like it, but Schwartz leaving is a good thing for the Browns. He would not have been able to co-exist in Cleveland with Monken at head coach. Jim would always resent Todd, and Todd would always be wondering if Jim was sabotaging him.

Honestly, I don't think you can retain Jim Schwartz at this point. If he stays he would naturally resent Monken. He will never like reporting to Monken. This is a recipe for a fistfight on the sidelines. Can't afford to lose him and now they can't keep him. Great job Browns.
