Screw it, here I go. Everyone with a level head that doesn’t see the world through just biased bases knows that Jalen Hurts plays some factors into the offensive struggles. However when he plays well, has an All-Pro season, and two impressive Super Bowl runs with one win when two middle of the pack offensive minds control the offense, you sort of want to take the side of the player… maybe that just me? The reporting DGunn, Marcus Hayes, Dianna Russini, and others like this have reported things with a clear agenda. Just look at the things they have said on podcasts and in writing. Do they have sources, Yes. I don’t think anyone is denying they have sources (although Marcus Hayes’ I might question lol). For example, and I’m going to lose some people here that don’t understand context, let’s say you would at a company with 50+ employees. You consider yourself a great worker, always there on time, do above and beyond what’s asked, and are on a great standing with the CEO. If you talk to those 50 co-workers behind your back there might be a few however that nitpick things about you that might be true but also are in some parts due to the entire ecosystem of the job that isn’t really taken into account. Back to reality here, that’s when I start raising my eyebrow to the whole media business, when a reporter only has negative things to say and write about a player that has overall been extremely successful. It comes off like in Russini’s case as propaganda, reporting things with sorta of a misleading agenda that will grab clicks because technically it’s also not false. And if you continue to do it, you deserve to be called out for it, sorry. And then there’s the, “well remember those Carson reports? They turned out to be true.” Most of those Carson reports were complete garbage as well just it turned out his body was made of glass, he was a shell of himself after the ACL, and if he was still 90% of what he was as a player pre-ACL and the back injuries he would’ve made those Josina Anderson and other bs articles a laughing stock. Now Russini gets caught in this pickle, and it’s funny because anyone that actually listened to what she was saying sort of had this hunch (using her “reporting” words here since it’s what she claimed she does) that something like this was probably going on. It’s not attacking reporters because I don’t like what they’re saying and writing. I understand there’s some truth in those words, just generally I think you’re hearing the words come from maybe the 5% of who are close to the situation. And it’s time after time the same bullshit from likely the same people.
