Last night we closed our PFPP Cohort 7 with our final session. Our leaders heard from our Dep. Superintendent, SB Member Lane, and learned some strategies to “land the job.” We are so proud of this group and cannot wait to see what they do next!

This month, we celebrate the great! 🌟🎉🍎 Each day, we'll introduce you to one of the incredible finalists for the Celebrate the Great Awards, which will be presented in partnership with the @EducationFdnPBC on January 29, 2026. Next up in the principal category, meet Dr. Tameka Robinson, principal at Santaluces Community High School and South Region finalist for 2026 Principal of the Year. Dr. Robinson says when she started at Santaluces, the school's graduation rate was 83%. Now, it is up to 95%. One assistant principal says, "she gets in the trenches with us. She's always in the classroom." The District looks forward to celebrating all of the Celebrate the Great finalists and announcing the winners later this month.

This month, we celebrate the great! 🌟🎉🍎 Our fourth finalist for Celebrate the Great Principal of the Year 2026 is Alicia Taylor from Lincoln Elementary School in the North Region. Mrs. Taylor says she is proud of the effort students and teachers put in to help the school achieve a "B" rating for the first time in more than 10 years. Her regional superintendent praised Mrs. Taylor for the work she's done at Lincoln Elementary as well. The District looks forward to celebrating all of the Celebrate the Great finalists and announcing the winners on Thursday, January 29, 2026, in partnership with the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County.

Mrs. Cirillo says what she likes most about her job is spending time with the students. Principal Stacey Wenisch says, "Mrs. Cirillo is always fostering a positive school culture, helping students and staff everyday." Mrs. Boldin says both of her parents were educators and she wanted to make the same type of impact on her community. Pahokee Principal Dr. Karen Abrams says Mrs. Boldin is "a jack of all trades, does everything from her heart, and cares about the community, the kids and the school." The District looks forward to celebrating all of the Celebrate the Great finalists and announcing the winners later this month.
